Petits Poussins, part of VHG Group, a French-English bilingual daycare and preschool network, is continuing to grow with two new locations, one in Brooklyn and the other in Manhattan, set to open in 2026.
Founded in 2014 by Columbia University-Licensed Teacher and Director Vanessa Handal-Ghenania in her very own living room, VHG Group was created with the mission giving children a bilingual education from the earliest years. Since then, the network has expanded to five locations across Brooklyn and Manhattan, serving children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. While they are known for the bilingual aspect, what sets them apart are their warm and dedicated teachers, all united by a common goal of raising socially conscious global citizens.
So what’s next for Petits Poussins?
- Petits Poussins Carroll Gardens (#6) : Opening in 2026, this new location will welcome infants and toddlers (ages 3 months to 2 years) in one of Brooklyn’s most charming neighborhoods!

- Petits Poussins Midtown (#7) : Set to open in the Spring 2026, Petits Poussins Midtown will be located in the storefront of a brand-new building, right by the United Nations Headquarters which is the ideal setting for Petits Poussins’ mission of raising socially conscious global citizens! The Midtown location will offer three programs: infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
